Great condo in a beautiful location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gentlewinds unit C-6. The condo sleeps 8 and is stocked with everything you need. It’s beautifully decorated and the pool and beach are just steps away. You can hear the Caribbean Sea from the lanai. The condo complex is centrally located on the island & convenient to everything. We hope to return!

The O’Neill’s Unit C 3 at Gentle Winds is a little piece of paradise
We could not say enough good things about our stay at Unit C 3 at Gentle Winds. The owner Patrick and his wife have thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and easy. From a fully stocked kitchen, nice, big beach towels, reef safe sunscreen, complimentary drinks and more we had everything we needed for a great and easy stay.
The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. It was very low-key when we were there. Our first morning, we woke up and headed straight out to the beach and pool area and were the only ones until about noon. When we were there, it seems like the afternoons were more active, probably when everyone was getting back from excursions. We brought our 3 young kids and there were other families staying on the property which was nice for our kids to have others to play with. There’s also a small play area and lots of grassy area for the kids to run around and be kids.
We also appreciated the location- it’s almost halfway between Frederiksted and Christiansted, which was perfect for us because we rented a jeep and part of the fun was driving around the entire island. Nothing was more than 30ish minutes away because of the central location and the drives along the coast reminded me of the Pacific Coast Highway in California.
If you’re looking for great hosts, I highly recommend C 3 or any of the properties managed by the O’Neills.

Exactly What We Needed
We spent 6 wonderful nights in K-1 (Joe and Marsha's Condo) at Gentle Winds. It was exactly what we needed. So lovely, peaceful, and easy going. Our motto was "Sleep, eat, go to the beach. Repeat." Every morning found us in the loungers under the tiki umbrellas. An extra bonus for our adult son was that he said he saw more fish and better reef while snorkeling at Gentle Winds than he did on his half day excursion to Buck Island, although he did enjoy Buck Island also.
One "hiccup" was that Sunday found the electricity on and off several times throughout the day and night because of storms in the area, but yeah--no hurricane.
Besides getting lost a few times, things went well. We had excellent food at Flyers near the condo , Rossi's west side of Christiansted, Rum Runners on the Boardwalk, Cheeseburgers in Paradise going east toward Point Udall, and LaReina Chicken Shack on Rte 75 toward the Airport.
The condo was very clean and the washer/dryer was so helpful. The hosts sent an excellent information pack which I printed off and kept with me.

Beautiful Villas
Beautiful small gated community featuring intimate villas with private pools. We enjoyed our stay very much. There is a constant breeze coming off the Caribbean and a beautiful ocean view. I was surprised how quiet and peaceful we found the community to be. There is an amazing restaurant directly across the street called Duggan’s Reef not to be missed. This end of the island is the more desirable location to stay. We were very pleased with our choice to stay here.

Excellent But Choose the Right Villa
The Villas Madeleine are 43 villas (mostly 2BR / 2BA en suite) with individual, private pools set on a hillside at the east end of St. Croix. The beaches are close. Good restaurants are within 2-15 minutes drive. The breezes are magnificent (no A/C necessary during any of my visits in February through May). The maintenance is exceptional by a delightful staff. The villas are cleaned well. But . . .
Not all the villas are the same. Some have better views, and some no view. Some have renovated bathrooms and kitchen, and some are quite old (but still clean). Most have renovated pools, but at least one doesn't (and that's a big problem because of chipped tiles that can be the enemy of bare feet). Some have sliding screens, and some do not (and that's a big problem because mosquitos will haunt you 24/7). The outdoor furniture is of varying quality and age. Many other subtle differences (pool floats, kitchen equipment, beds, etc.). Definitely insist on a villa with a renovated pool and sliding screens on all doors.

Quiet seclusion
Villa was super clean and very well taken care of. Beatutiful breeze, wonderful weather and great times. Pool would have been much better if heated or had a solar cover, sometimes it was too cold to really enjoy. A/C was only used in the bedroom at bedtime and was fine for the temps. Only issue is when leaving i looked at the AC unit in the wall and there was a TON of black mold on the insite of the unit and it made me a little creeped out. Im sure it is par for the course though. Just an idea to Seaview palms unit owner, they should get it cleaned out ASAP. loved the entire trip and how everything was handled from start to finish

Hate to tell you all about this gem!
I hesitate to review this honestly bc I don’t want to flood the place with new guests but if your looking for views and apartment style living with your own private pool, then VM is your vacation destination. Guest relations is top notch beginning with Anne who takes care of all your travel issues and booking to Charles, who meets you at the airport and is a fountain of information from your first day. Elvin will stop by on Thursday to clean your pool and anything you need, text Charles and it will be taken care of. Down at the end of the road is TLC Kitchen for an excellent breakfast and lunch, no frills but food is really satisfying and just across the street is Duggans Reef a restaurant right on the water with really delicious food and the best steaks on STX. Taking a less than 10 minute drive to Point Udall before sunrise to watch the sun rise at the Easternmost tip of the United States is not to be missed!

Stayed over a week
I had a great time staying at Bubble Island Too. The condo was just as described, spotless, and the kitchen was the most well equipped of any AirBnb I’ve stayed in, and the AC worked great. Rebecca and Jeff (manager?) were very proactive in their their communication before arrival and during my stay. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Stayed a few nights
My wife and I celebrated our 30th yr wedding anniversary at Rebecca's place (Bubble Island) and it was absolutely wonderful. The views, the nearby restaurants, and the beautiful, clean, well stocked Villa was just the icing on the cake. I would recommend her 10 times over. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations.

Dorene's place was amazing. It was quiet and relaxing and accessible to laid-back and nice dining experiences. I miss sitting outside on the deck, reading my book, and looking over the beautiful blue sea. My husband walked down to the driving range each evening to hit balls when returning from the beach. A little cafe/store opened the day after we arrived, where we could grab a cappuccino and sandwich while stocking up on some basic groceries and essentials. Dorene also has a binder with suggested beaches. We loved Sandy Point and Dorsch beaches the most. St. Croix is lovely, quiet, and a gem of a place. We wholeheartedly recommend Dorene's place. We also loved that she used a local agent, Sara, who was wonderful. She met us with a key and answered our questions. My two young kids also loved their stay! We will come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Dorene's home the views are beautiful & location is great!! There is plenty of amenities, it feels very safe w/site security. Her home is clean & well equipped with everything needed. If you are planning on using the pull out bed for another guest i would not recommend however it is nice to have the option but VERY uncomfortable my son ending up refusing to sleep on it so keep that in mind. Check in was very easy and her and Anna were in communication with us from point of arrival and flexible regarding check in and check out. They even have some beach stuff to use which is very useful. The beach is walkable but not the best for anything other than views in our opinion lots of seaweed, rocks and tons of sea urchins. However there are TONS of beautiful spots VERY close by, we do recommend a car to get around easier and see all the spots available on the island. they are close to hiking and Udall point which is great for a good sunrise. We would stay again!

This place is amazing. Great views, comfy beds, great design, wonderful patio. Staying on the East end is where it’s at. The pool at the top of the hill was fantastic! it was everything you could ever need for a vacay to St croix. Thanks for everything, especially the rum!

Stayed about a week
I’ve thought about this review more than I’ve thought about most because this place was absolutely PHENOMENAL and I wanted to make sure I conveyed that. I mean absolutely everything about this stay from check in to check out, and everything in between was wonderful. The condo was absolutely gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. I could have spent my entire vacation sitting on the patio looking at the beautiful views.
I cannot stress how great the host was. Not only did he give us recommendations of his favorite places, he gave us directions to them and free passes to places that required admission. The place was fully stocked as you’d do if family were to visit. We felt so comfortable and cared for. The neighbors were so friendly. They introduced themselves and let us know if we needed anything to also let them know. It was just a wonderful experience all around. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! When we get back to St Croix we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo with amazing shoreline snorkeling
The condo (Turtle Y) was large and spacious and beautiful. We spent a week here and the snorkeling literally on the beach in front of the property was some of the best we had ever seen. So much coral and rock formation. We saw so many fish, stingray and turtles in front of the unit. The check in process was wonderful and the manager Althea was very responsive and her daughter who let us in was so kind and personable. We loved having access to laundry to clean clothes before we left. The breezes through the condo were wonderful. I don’t have a single complaint about the unit or experience. My only feedback would be to travelers wanting to be near Fredriksted, it was somewhat challenging to find restaurants that were open or open past 7pm. We thought it may be the time we visited but it was similar even on days the cruise ships were there. And some of the restaurants we did visit mentioned we shouldn’t walk around there at night. We shopped and cooked a few nights and watched the sunset from the condo. Gorgeous!

Amazing
(Turtle Y condo) This was perfect! Loved watching the sunsets every evening. The best snorkeling on the island was right out our door!! The pool was perfect as well. The house was very well stocked and check in was so simple and everyone was so helpful and nice. We will be back!

Late May Stay
The property (Turtle Y) was clean and walking out the gate to the beach was an added plus. Snorkeling was awesome! We saw lots of fish we had never seen before, turtles, stingray (was not near condo), and lobster. The views from the balcony were great. There definitely was an island breeze all of the time, but late May is a little more humid so getting dressed in a bathroom without a/c was a little bothersome. Since the bedroom is the only area with a/c some may not find this appealing. We managed okay but any later in the summer may not be the same and I suspect the temperatures will probably rise as summer continues. Just my opinion. The only other item was the bed was not as firm as I would have expected. I'm a short person (5'1") and had a very hard time getting in the bed but found a step stool to help. LOL The overall stay was good. Very nice property and quiet. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves most of the time.

Snorkelers dream spot!
This spacious condo (Sea La Vie) is in the perfect location if you want quick access to amazing snorkeling, and amazing ocean views. It is a couple of miles outside of Fredriksted, where there are restaurants and dive shops. The unit furnishings could use some updating and a new bathroom door, but the complex is well kept with a great pool. Highly recommend!

Great Property!
Loved the property and the snorkeling right out in front! Pool area and gazebo/grill area were very clean with great location. Short walk to town with plenty of great shops, restaurants/bars. Very friendly locals and Bob, the property maintenance guy, was very helpful and great to chat with. Only negative was that all the beach chairs and the beach umbrella were broken but that did absolutely nothing to affect our trip. Will definitely be back to this property next time we return to St Croix!

Wonderful, relaxing stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The turquoise water view was the best ever! The condo was well-appointed. We were the only guests at the pool and on the beach; both areas were lovely and quiet. The listing is clear regarding A/C only in the bedroom; the unit worked well and kept the bedroom temperature quite comfortable. Fans and the cross breeze were appreciated in the living spaces; those areas sometimes were rather warm as expected without A/C. The host’s welcome gift of coconut rum was delicious and thoughtful. Snorkeling equipment and beach chairs were useful too. We had a wonderful visit!

Awesome view of the ocean & Buck Island
Comfortable & relaxing. Unit has updated design & new appliances. We enjoyed the open concept so we can prepare meals in the kitchen while looking out at the ocean. Well stocked with kitchen & bathroom supplies. Would highly recommend!

Love this Unit
The property and this specific unit were once again perfect for us. The views from the balcony off the living room were lovely. We spent many hours sitting out there and the trade winds blowing through the condo kept things at the perfect temperature. The washer and dryer in the unit were a plus as were the beach chairs and beach towels. We highly recommend this unit.

Sara was a great hostess. The view of Buck Island is awesome. The condo is very clean, cute decorations and well stocked with anything you need for stay including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. Pool was great as well. Hope to come back next year.

Great stay!
It was perfectly located on island, close enough to downtown Christiansted, but far enough outside of everything. Very quiet, peaceful, great view of Buck island. Everything in the condo was in perfect working order, great responsiveness from staff with any questions necessary. Perfect for families who want to just get away and relax. Pool was warm, kids had a great time. Just as pictured, perfectly modern, nice cool AC for the summer heat, and wonderful balconies to cool off in the evening breeze with amazing views. We had a wonderful time and definitely will be coming back next year!

What an absolute gem! The views are as if they’ve been taken for a postcard! Sunset and sunrise! The condo provides everything you need for a relaxing day in or an adventure to one of the many local beautiful beach spots!!! Incredible owners and property managers ready to help should you need anything!

The unit is nicely appointed. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The view from the gallery is fantastic. Everything was in great working order. This was one of our family's best vacations, and having no surprises with our rental was a big part of that.

We had another great stay at Seascape. This is our 4th visit, and we always feel at home. Great condo. The owners are awesome and the property manager is very responsive. I highly recommend St. Croix and this beautiful condo.

Seascape Escape
Our stay at Seascape Escape Condo in Coakley Bay was fabulous. We have stayed multiple places on the island and have found the East side quieter and not too far from town. The unit was great and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Great St Croix Condo with Spectacular Waterfront views
This is a great condo for families with all the amenities you need. Owner and property manager very responsive to any issues that arose during our stay. It is as advertised, very close to beaches and excellent restaurants. Host provided very helpful recommendations for food stores, restaurants and beaches. We will stay there again.
